Monetary Donations
Make a one-time financial contribution to Friends of Historic Meridian. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
You can donate:
- Online — Use the donation form below to make a secure one-time gift
- By mail — Send a check payable to Friends of Historic Meridian to: P.O. Box 155, Okemos, MI 48805-0155
- In person — Contributions are accepted at the General Store during Village hours
AmazonSmile
Support the Village every time you shop. Through the AmazonSmile program, Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to Friends of Historic Meridian at no additional cost to you. Simply select Friends of Historic Meridian as your charitable organization on AmazonSmile.
Artifact Donations
We welcome donations of 19th-century artifacts that are relevant to the history of Meridian Township and mid-Michigan. Artifact donations help us build and enhance the exhibits in our historic buildings.
Artifact Donation Process
- Submit a description and photograph of the item by email to meridianhistoricalvillage@gmail.com
- The donation will be reviewed by the board for pre-approval before acceptance
- Accepted items are formally accessioned into the Village collection
Important Policies
- All artifact donations become the property of Friends of Historic Meridian upon acceptance
- FHM does not provide appraisals of donated items
- We reserve the right to decline donations that do not align with our collection scope
- Donors receive a written acknowledgment for tax purposes, but determining the value of the donation is the responsibility of the donor
