Friends of Historic Meridian is a nonprofit organization with the mission to create and sustain an active appreciation of local history. We preserve and maintain eight historic buildings in Central Park, Okemos — from Michigan's only surviving tollgate house to a one-room schoolhouse built for $853.45 in 1883.
